The Drawing Studio of Tucson is pleased to announce studio art courses in ORACLE at the RLV OracleArt Wilson Barn Center .
The country setting of the Wilson Barn in Oracle provides us with endless inspiration of the winter light and landscape on the north slope of the Catalinas, right at our doorstep. We will present and practice the principles of landscape art in this session. Working directly from landscape our lessons will include: composition principles, space and atmosphere, detail vs. impression, focus vs. non focus, and most important, learning how to look without naming things.

One of the cornerstones of the work at RLV OracleArt is its Artist Fellowships and Residencies, designed to foster the creation and exhibition of artistic works in a rural setting. In its first year, RLV OracleArt will offered an Argentinian Photographry Fellowship, which will brought a promising young photographer from Argentina to Oracle in order to further develop his/her work in a truly unique environment while allowing our rural corner of Arizona the chance to experience the diverse visions of a creative professional we would otherwise never know.
